Onalee Kidd serves as the Director of Tourism for Greenville, Kentucky, and brings with her a deep passion for the community and its future. A proud resident of Greenville, Onalee is dedicated to celebrating and promoting all that makes the town a special place to live, work, and visit.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University and has long been active in community life. Over the years, she has served on several local boards, including the Muhlenberg Community Theatre, the Muhlenberg County Fair Board, and the Muhlenberg County Band Boosters. She is also a Chamber Ambassador, a volunteer for the Project Prom Committee, and was honored to be named Mrs. Muhlenberg County 2022.

Onalee volunteers her time teaching Little Dragons at Muhlenberg County Tae Kwon Do, where she helps instill confidence, discipline, and focus in young students. In 2024, she was selected to participate in the Muhlenberg Civic Leadership Institute—an experience she describes as deeply inspiring, thanks to the creativity and passion of her fellow Muhlenberg citizens.

In her role as Director, Onalee oversees the day-to-day operations of the Greenville Tourism Commission and looks at long-term initiatives to increase tourism within the community. She serves as a liaison to regional and state tourism organizations and is involved in every aspect of local tourism activities. Working closely with the commissioners, she is committed to growing tourism in Greenville through collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.

She and her husband of 26 years, Jason Kidd, have built a life in Greenville focused on community, family, and service. Their oldest daughter, Elizabeth, is a graduate of Muhlenberg County High School and is currently pursuing an aviation degree at Eastern Kentucky University. Their younger daughter, Katherine, is enrolled in the Early College Program at Madisonville Community College through MCHS.

She is honored to serve and is committed to making Greenville an even more vibrant and welcoming destination.
